Here are a few ways we like to use our vitamin packed formulas. They’ll get your creative juices and hair flowing in no time…
Let’s start with the classic smoothie.
Our Help Hair protein powder was made for adding to your daily smoothie. Unlike a lot of protein powders, there’s no powdery flavour, or dodgy aftertaste.
The vanilla flavour makes them sweeter from the Stevia, and adds an indulgent creamy taste, and the formula makes them deliciously frothy.

2. Smoothie bowls
Now we’re getting a little more creative!
Whizz up some Help Hair Protein with frozen banana, berries, beetroot, yoghurt (optional), a handful of spinach (you won’t taste it, we promise) and a splash of water to create a super thick and spoonable smoothie.
Then top with your favourite fruit, sugar-free granola, oats, coconut, chia or whatever gets you going in morning – except bacon, obvs.
3. Raw balls
Add a scoop of protein powder to your favourite raw ball recipe to make them extra chocolatey or to add a sweet, creamy vanilla flavour. Don’t have a favourite recipe? Try our lemon meringue raw ball recipe.
- 2 cups of cashews
- 1 cup of pitted dates
- zest of one lemon
- 1 scoop of vanilla Help Hair
- splash of water
- 1 tablespoon of desiccated coconut
then roll into balls.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
Help Hair’s whey protein blend is perfect to use for baking.
Simply add a scoop to your recipe for a little protein hit. The Stevia will add some sweetness, as well as an extra vanilla or chocolate flavour.
And you don’t have to stop at muffins, try adding the chocolate or vanilla flavours to brownies, cookies and biscuits!
5. Homemade “nice-cream”
As well as baking your protein powder, you can also freeze Help Hair.
To make healthy, dairy-free ‘ice-cream’, chop up a few ripe bananas and freeze for a couple of hours. Once frozen, puree the slices in a food processor – this can take a while and you’ll have to scrape the banana down the sides a couple of times.
Once the bananas are nice and smooth, add a scoop of chocolate Help Hair protein powder, a tablespoon of peanut butter and blend again. Taste and add more chocolate or PB if needed, then tuck in or freeze to make it more solid.
If peanut butter doesn’t float your boat, you can also try a dreamy strawberry flavour, by blending fresh strawberries and vanilla Help Hair with your ‘ice-cream’. Or add honey, nuts, fruit, the possibilities are endless! So many flavours, so little time…
Oh yes! We’ve saved the best for last! You can add a scoop of Help Hair to your pancake batter to give them a sweet protein kiss. We find Help Hair works best with this healthy pancake recipe:
In a food processor, mix together:
- 1 scoop vanilla Help Hair protein powder
- 1 banana
- 1 egg
- 200ml semi-skimmed milk
- 250g wholemeal self-raising flour
Add spoonfuls of the batter to a lightly buttered frying pan, on a med-high heat. Flip them over when they start bubbling at the edges.
Top them with fresh strawberries and natural yoghurt.
